Introducing Miranda & Jordan
After reading the first email from Miranda, we instantly knew she and Jordan were madly in love. They wanted a film to showcase their incredible love story and relationship. A wedding film was one of their top priorities! We felt a connection to their story and insta love kind of relationship. We were excited to take on this project! It was important to us to showcase their relationship and intimate day.! We wanted their film to feel like a journey!
Miranda & Jordan really valued our craft, right from the start. They wanted a film of their day to show friends and family and of course to have as a keepsake. Miranda was excited and willing to hear our recommendations to make their film their own, and to focus on their relationship and interests. We continued to plan and email right through Christmas. I remember sitting at the computer on Christmas day, dreaming of their wedding and just knowing how perfect it was going to be. From the winter scenery to the significance of their wedding date.
The couple eloped at the Fairmont Banff Springs in early January. From their photo collection on display, her stunning gown, video messages from their close family ( this will be on their full length disc!) , personal vows and first dance! There was no shortage of romance and personal touches. You'll see some more in the film! Their was no need for a big reception or grand entrance to make this video heartfelt and big on details. We all need to give elopements more credit. In our opinion they are the upmost, most romantic ceremonies and truly about what marriage is all about, the union and connection the couple holds. This is why we are film makers, to capture these precious personal moments, for genuine couples. It was a pleasure to spend the day with Miranda & Jordan. Enjoy the film.. And cake topper!!

February Update!
We may only be a week into this month, but boy has it been busy! We've had the pleasure of meeting with many incredible 2015 couples! We feel so humbled to be part of your weddings!
We also spent last weekend scouting out locations in Lake Louise and Banff for next weekends wedding! Their guest are going to have the best time!! You won't believe what their doing!! ( top secret !!) Kristy & Chad's video will be one to look out for this month! We're hoping to edit it before we unplug for a week in March!
Next up is our styled shoot with Sofia Katherine Photography! More details to come on this winter inspired shoot! We'll be working along side many of Calgary's most talented wedding vendors! We'll be sure to get you the full list of vendors! We're hoping to release this fun winter promo video next week!
Lastly is Miranda & Jordan's wedding film- it's what I've been busy editing these last two weeks. This elopement took place in early January. Once our final December edit was complete, we started right away on this one! It's a show stopper. These guys are so in love!! We'll see what I mean when you see the video! We will be releasing it this week.
Last on our plate this week has been sitting down with numerous photographers in the city Many are wanting promotional videos! Too secret again! We don't want to spill the beans on the fun ideas we have brewing!
We're excited ! Each have such different styles and personalities! We're big advocates of web videos. They bring customers and attract people! No one really wants to read your bio- they'd rather watch a quick 3 minute video! I'm just being honest!! We're guilty of not having an 'about us' video on our page. We're really camera shy!
We also just recently receiving our shipment from B&H (our favourite store in NY for anything video related!) This light in addition to our 12 foot stand will change the way we shoot our speech and first dance portions. We're in love with it and all the windows it opens for us! Our various other video lights won't have features these ones do!
We'll it's back to packing for tomorrow's shoot! Wish us luck and drink some tea for us! It looks like it might be a brisk day!!
