A Keyframe marks the beginning or end of a transition. It holds special information that defines where a transition should start or stop.

A wedding filmmaking workshop hosted by Parfait Productions in the canadian rockies,

April 29th + 30th, 2019. Canmore, Alberta, Canada.

Located at the entrance of Banff National Park

What’s the Keyframe WORKSHOP ALL ABOUT?

After being wedding filmmakers going on 9 seasons, Ixchel & Justin of Parfait Productions have seen a lot, and learned many hard lessons over 230+ completed weddings. After shooting weddings internationally, with a high-profile client list, we feel Parfait Productions has something to share with the next generation of wedding filmmakers. No, we’re not Insta-famous, we worked hard for this. As a result, we are able to teach and mentor students to grow their business from the ground up. We’re passionate about growing this industry and helping others. It brings us joy to see other companies grow after putting in the hard work and applying first hand knowledge we provided to them through mentoring. Ixchel & Justin are not from the quick and dirty school of thought. Parfait is about quality over quantity, sustainability, and investing in your company. We’re going to remove all the fluff and be real with you. It’s about time there’s a place for wedding filmmakers to go to learn professional level advice, learn the business, receive valuable feedback and elevate their brand.

There are no styled shoots at this workshop. To build a brand that stands out in your market, your portfolio should be unique. Shooting posed models on a cliff, or frolicking through a forest does not demonstrate your abilities as a filmmaker. Each attendee has a unique style, type of client, aesthetic and desired market. Let’s celebrate our differences and not work towards all being the same. In lieu of a styled shoot, we’ll have live demo’s to show how we shoot each part of the day, without being in each others footage or the photographers. This workshop is about kicking the bad habits, elevating your brand experience, perfection your audio + lighting, building your confidence in all parts of the wedding day, branding yourself to attract the right clients, building a profitable business, valuing your time and producing work you are proud of.  Did we mention making more money per wedding? We’re excited to share what we’ve learned in our time in the industry. A female & male perspective of adapting to trends and changes in the industry and thriving through all economies. Ixchel & Justin can’t wait to meet you to get this party started.

Tried and tested methods will be taught. We’ll provide quality gear recommendations + tips, fit for capturing the memories of the discerning couple. We want you to be exceptional and realize your potential, and raise the bar in your market. We go beyond just shooting pretty things, we focus on what matters. The real moments, and capturing them professionally. We’re here to create heirlooms, not music videos. Let’s help you find your voice in this industry.
