Jadis & Simon's Intimate Winter Wedding
An Intimate Wedding At the Post Hotel, Lake Louise

Today we are sharing the heartfelt, intimate and perfectly curated winter wedding of Jadis and Simon. We had the pleasure of filming their wedding, at the Post Hotel, Lake Louise, Canada.
From the moment we received the first email from Jadis, we knew their wedding would be a unique celebration of love, their heritage, and families. With Jadis and Simon planning from 7090 Km’s away, we set up a Skype date to chat about the wedding, their love story, and why they had picked the Post Hotel in Lake Louise for their intimate Canadian Wedding.
Fast forward several months and the day had come! We had recently arrived home from our long awaited honeymoon and were ready to rock the party (not figuratively) [ This is our way of saying “ film like you’ve never filmed before and make it epic!! ” ] The drive down to Lake Louise was magical, with the weather going from winter, to spring…then back to winter with a sprinkle of summer here and there. We’re in Alberta after all, right?
The morning of the wedding, the sky was blue and the sun was shinning! I filmed with the ladies and Justin with the men (our usual roles). With friends and family in the room, spanning the globe, the two respective rooms were full of energy and excitement.
Jadis had all her wedding day essentials laid out. Each piece perfectly selected for the occasion. One thing that caught my attention was her journal. She had documented her journey from engagement through to the wedding planning. You’ll see a glimpse of this in the film!
When Jadis and her bridesmaids were putting together the final aspects of her wedding day look, the energy in the room was electric. The elegant hair adornment was just one of the pieces that spoke to me. She was very gracious to allow us to film on the balcony for the last moments before the ceremony, where the light was just perfect!
From the personal vows, hand selected readings from family members and the warm inviting decor, the ceremony was just breath taking. Post ceremony, we headed to the picturesque Lake Louise, to capture the wedding party and couple during their portrait session. Giant snow flakes were falling, and clouds were hanging dramatically low over the lake; it was magical! You’ll see the four seasons in the film, as it naturally occurred! What followed was a night full of heart felt speeches (some belly laughing!) and then dancing in the Outpost Pub.
We wanted to thank J & S again for sharing their wedding day celebration with us. It was such a pleasure to meet you both, and capture the moments as the day unfolded. Congrats again!

Kolby + Rob's Winter Wedding At Eagle Ranch Golf Resort Invermere
Kolby + Rob's Wedding Highlight Reel
We had the great pleasure of capturing Rob and Kolby's wedding in Invermere, B.C at Eagle Ranch Golf Resort this past February! It was our first time in Invermere shooting a wedding!
Kolby and Rob love winter and winter sports. They wanted their guests to enjoy the beautiful setting! The original plan was a winter wedding, with a dash of falling snow. As you might know, not everything goes as planned. We ended up with warm weather and no snow!! The flip side was, the lack of wind and cold allowed for some absolutely stunning and breath taking shots not typical to winter shoots. You'll need to watch the video to see what we're saying. These are things we can't order from mother earth- they just happen!
From the stunning location, beautiful couple, charming decor details, beautiful cake made by the brides friend, energetic dance floor and Kolby's two incredible gowns. This wedding will go down in history for us! Thank you for sharing the day with us!

A Summer Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding
Where do we begin? We won't ever forget Skyping with these legends for the first time. Paula and Joe described their wedding style, their connection to Calgary, how they met, the couple's favourite french restaurant in Philadelphia and their love of the LOVE monument by fame sculpture Robert Indiana in the John F. Kennedy Plaza. All these elements were integral in the decor and feel of their wedding day at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta this past July.
We couldn't have been more honoured to capture this wedding. From the fabulous love story, to the talented vendors, this day was incredible! The immense love amongst the families, the strong bonds between all the bridal party and the amazing dance moves- the day was indeed memorable! There were many many unforgettable moves on the dance floor...and a choreographed dance spanning all the bridal party and families! We have to thank DJ Fayyaz for keeping the dance floor going late into the night! Notice a change in Paula's dress in the film! She wanted to switch things up late in the evening on the dance floor and reveal a shortened gown!

Enjoy the Highlight Reel of Paula & Joe's wedding day! Paula and Joe also decided to go with our new Cinematic Film option, which is a 25 minute feature film covering their entire wedding day, from morning to night! There will be all new footage and moments for this full edit! Thank you again Paula and Joe, you were such a genuine and fun loving couple- we could do it all over again!
