First things first, I appreciate my first name is new to you. It’s pronounced Ick-shell. You’re welcome to call me Ix. Born and raised in Calgary, my name is a harmony of my french and latin roots.

After fifteen years in this industry, I’ve learned a thing or two. And I still have plenty to learn and share.

My passion for capturing weddings goes beyond the usual “I love love” or “I picked up a camera and never put it down.” While both are perfectly fair, there’s something to be said for entering the unknown, trusting your instincts, following your dreams, and never giving up. Wedding filmmaking is highly technical, and the experience required to navigate a wedding day can’t be taught in a workshop or studied in a textbook.

If wedding vendors had a green room, we’d all admit to dreaming of a 7 p.m. fridge cigarette on a wedding day. For those unfamiliar, Diet Coke will do.

The Cole’s Notes? Parfait Productions is my passion. I’ve been fortunate to be invited into so many meaningful celebrations and entrusted with telling so many inspiring love stories. I never take that privilege for granted.
