Marcus & Kayla's Secret Mountain Elopement!

The moment Kayla contacted us and told us she was planning her elopement in the mountains, we were so excited. Not only are elopements one of our favourite things to film, as they're super romantic & personal, but Kayla and Marcus had decided to forge all traditions and not share their upcoming elopement plans with anyone, but their best friends. It was a secret!! They drove all the way from northern B.C to celebrate and elope in Banff with their two best friends, for a whole weekend! Isn't that amazing?!

The moment we officially met Kayla in Banff, she was over the moon excited about the big day. Her best friend came in from Calgary to be by her side!

Kayla had planned such great details, such as great girly robes for her and her BFF to wear, earrings that matched her wedding colours perfectly and her best friends dress. From the flowers she found on ETSY. Everything was so perfect and unique. Even her ring, had two different looks you could alternate from! Her dress was absolutely stunning! We love when couple's eloping bring in their personal style and add details to the day. Having the dress of your dreams should still be important, no matter how big or small the wedding! We think so at least!

Marcus matched perfectly with the colour scheme of turquoise, with Mrs. Bow Tie pocket square and matching bow tie. We love his moustache! He pulled off the whole look.

The girls giggled, told stories and sipped on mimosas all morning, as Marcus hung out with his best friend, had breakfast and went for a quick hair cut. 

We all met up and headed over to Two Jack Lake for their outdoor ceremony. The sun was shinning and moment had come! 

We hope you enjoy this Elopement Film! It was such a pleasure to spend the day with this awesome couple and their best friends! Now that they've told their friends and family, we want to say a big public congrats to Kayla and Marcus! Yay!

Wendy & Brian's Highlight Reel is up on the blog!

 The ceremony and the reception were at the Glencoe Golf and Country Club in Calgary, Alberta. We would like to thank the couple and all their friends & family for having us join them on this magical day! Wendy had always dreamt of getting married outside, thankfully the rain stopped right in time! Big special thank you to the venue, vendors, friends and family for being so flexible and rescheduling the ceremony that very day, due to the rain. Everything was seamless! Congrats!

Kate & Drew's wedding was incredible! We can't wait for the highlight reel to hit production! The confetti shot on the dance floor was one of the most memorable shots! The bride & groom being lifted up on chairs while on the dance floor was fun too! There was never a dull moment. Our videographers had a fantastic time capturing the bride and grooms full day of events. The fun factor continued on well into the night! We ended the night with the well wishes to the couple.
