Lindsey + Rilan's Mountain Wedding
We love shooting in the mountains! We find that our couple's celebrating their love in the mountains have a relaxed feel to their day and an appreciation for nature's beauty.
From our first Skype date with Lindsay and Rilan, we knew their wedding would be unforgettable. Not only did they have an amazing team of vendors, but they were treating their guests to the town of Canmore on Canada Day! Yay! The teams collaborated to create a cozy and rustic feel to the reception. The rich tones of the flowers and the candle's bokeh were dreamy in person and on film. The king protea's were out of this world. Here's a video still frame:
Personal vows make our hearts skip a beat. Lindsay and Rilan wrote some of the most touching and heartfelt personal vows we have ever heard. Vow goals anyone? They were genuine and well written. From the footage you can certainly see the connection they have with each other, from the way they looked at each other to how they danced and moved, we felt like they were connected and truly present on their wedding day.

This wedding caps off our summer 2013 season! What an incredible day! Kelsea and Scott are such genuine, kind and loving people. Their friends and families gathered in Canmore for the weekend to celebrate. From the moment we showed up to start shooting with Kelsea, to the last moments on the dance floor at the end of the night with Kelsea and Scott, they were beaming with joy!
