Lindsey + Rilan's Mountain Wedding
We love shooting in the mountains! We find that our couple's celebrating their love in the mountains have a relaxed feel to their day and an appreciation for nature's beauty.
From our first Skype date with Lindsay and Rilan, we knew their wedding would be unforgettable. Not only did they have an amazing team of vendors, but they were treating their guests to the town of Canmore on Canada Day! Yay! The teams collaborated to create a cozy and rustic feel to the reception. The rich tones of the flowers and the candle's bokeh were dreamy in person and on film. The king protea's were out of this world. Here's a video still frame:
Personal vows make our hearts skip a beat. Lindsay and Rilan wrote some of the most touching and heartfelt personal vows we have ever heard. Vow goals anyone? They were genuine and well written. From the footage you can certainly see the connection they have with each other, from the way they looked at each other to how they danced and moved, we felt like they were connected and truly present on their wedding day.

Asya & Jamie had an amazing wedding in Banff at Buffalo Mountain Lodge, with a combination of Canadian and Russian traditions. There was no shortage of fun times at their wedding!
At Lake Minnewanke
The head of the house hold is based on who takes the largest bite of bread at the ceremony. Then Jamie had to get his bride back when Asya got kidnapped during the reception. You'll even see Jamie dancing to get Asya back and drinking out of her shoe in the film!! From the cake toppers, to wedding colours and music selection, it was a true blending of beautiful cultures and families! Vodka! ( I think that's what the guests we're cheering all night?!)

Congrats to Keefer and Jessica! We were honoured to be part of their wedding celebration a couple weeks ago. With guests coming from all over the world, this wedding was a truly intimate and personal. From the games their bridal party organized, to the Jessica's fathers impromptu rendition of L O V E by Frank Sinatra on the mic and the lovely collection of photos in the reception room, every part of this wedding was precisely planned and considered. Have we mentioned the convertible? You'll have to take a look at the ultra cool car they had for the day!
