It's been a busy few weeks here at the Parfait Hq. Shooting weddings, working on Same Week Edits and finishing up extended edits!
We thought it was time we share this beautiful elopement with you! M & K traveled all the way from Australia to get married at the picturesque location of Emerald Lake. It's one of our favourite locations to film! We met them in person days before the wedding in Calgary to get to know each other and chat about their vision.
Sometimes our couples like to be hands on and share their ideas. We love this! M& K really wanted there to be an aspect of travel and adventure in the film! They also decided to keep their ceremony words private. This film showcases the beautiful and fun filled day the couple had. They even had a canoe race with their families!

An Acreage Wedding
We met Meghan and Brett over a year ago, but we didn't even know it! They were guests at Tegan and Dave's wedding and this time around, Dave was one of the groomsmen!
When Meghan and Brett told us they were having their wedding at their acreage near Trochu, Alberta- we were ecstatic! The big open skies and rustic feel were something we had only every dreamt of filming. Although I can admit to being a city gal, the country side and rolling hills always seemed exotic to me. I'd never really been to a small town and had one of those small town diner burgers. Yes, they are amazing! We had one on one of our visits out near Trochu. Justin and I are born and raised here but somehow I had never really traveled much in our our backyard.
Spring time rolled around and it was time to finally check out their place. We had decided to wait to meet, as when they booked it was a busy time for them and then it turned into winter. We were greeted with big smiles and lemonade! We checked out the place and all the hard work they had put into the area where the wedding would take place. We also couldn't help but admire the views surrounding them. The countdown was on!
Fast forward a few months, and the day had arrived. A sunny Saturday morning kicked off their wedding day! We won't hold you up any longer, here it is-Meghan and Brett's Highlight Reel. We should add that they built all their own decor with the help of friends and family! Incredible!

Paula + Joe | Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding | Highlight Reel | Banff Wedding Videographers
A Summer Fairmont Banff Springs Wedding
Where do we begin? We won't ever forget Skyping with these legends for the first time. Paula and Joe described their wedding style, their connection to Calgary, how they met, the couple's favourite french restaurant in Philadelphia and their love of the LOVE monument by fame sculpture Robert Indiana in the John F. Kennedy Plaza. All these elements were integral in the decor and feel of their wedding day at the Fairmont Banff Springs in Banff, Alberta this past July.
We couldn't have been more honoured to capture this wedding. From the fabulous love story, to the talented vendors, this day was incredible! The immense love amongst the families, the strong bonds between all the bridal party and the amazing dance moves- the day was indeed memorable! There were many many unforgettable moves on the dance floor...and a choreographed dance spanning all the bridal party and families! We have to thank DJ Fayyaz for keeping the dance floor going late into the night! Notice a change in Paula's dress in the film! She wanted to switch things up late in the evening on the dance floor and reveal a shortened gown!

Enjoy the Highlight Reel of Paula & Joe's wedding day! Paula and Joe also decided to go with our new Cinematic Film option, which is a 25 minute feature film covering their entire wedding day, from morning to night! There will be all new footage and moments for this full edit! Thank you again Paula and Joe, you were such a genuine and fun loving couple- we could do it all over again!

A Wedding Pavilion Wedding
We met Danielle and Mike for coffee last summer and instantly knew their wedding day would be beautiful, sentimental and a family affair. We love seeing how the two families can come together at the wedding.
What stood out the most for us were Danielle and Mike's vows. Here are the highlights of their wedding day and the heart felt vows. Did we mentioned their dog was at the ceremony? You won't want to miss the pup's appearance in the film!
